June 9th

Theft: At approximately 0844 hours, Officers took a report of a theft in the 700 block of NW 11th Street. The victim reported that there catalytic converter was stolen from there Toyota Prius overnight.

Violent Conduct: At approximately 0910 hours, Officers took a report of a male yelling and walking into traffic near the area of 7th and Western. Officers contacted a 33 year old male resident of North Bend Oregon. The male was issued a citation for violent conduct and told to stay out of the roadway.

Fraud/Theft: At approximately 0924 hours, Officers took a report of a fraud in the 900 block of NW Spruce. The victim reported that someone had created a fake Facebook account and impersonated a friend and had them forward $700 to them. This turned out to be fraudulent.

Assault: At approximately 1145 hours, Officers contacted a male in the 1100 block of Buchanan that was bleeding from the face. The 36 year old male with no fixed address, stated he was assaulted earlier in the day near Shari’s on 9th Street, but did not want to pursue any charges.

Trespass: At approximately 1243 hours, Officers responded to a business in the 900 block of NW Garfield Avenue for a trespass. They contacted a 48 year old female with no fixed address, and she agreed to leave the property at law enforcements request. The female was trespassed from the property and told not to return.

Assault IV/Strangulation – Officers responded to the 3400 block of NE Lancaster St for a reported domestic disturbance. Officers learned a 26 y/o male had assaulted and strangled his 22 y/o girlfriend. She sustained bruising from the assault and reported additional historical incidents of abuse. The male was taken into custody and booked into the Benton County Jail for Assault IV, Strangulation and Menacing.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 42 y/o male with no fixed address in the 2200 block of SW 3rd St. The male had a state-wide felony warrant for FTA Burglary II issued out of Benton County Circuit Court. He was issued a citation and released.

Criminal Mischief – Officers responded to an argument at a business in the 2200 block of NW 9th St between a 38-yaer-old female with no fixed address and a 32 year Corvallis male. The female became upset with the male and kicked in the glass door to the business and left the area. Officers were unable to locate the suspect. The case is open pending contact with the suspect.

Burglary – Officers responded to the 3600 block of NW Witham Hill Dr for a report of a burglary in progress. Officers arrived and spoke to an 18-year-old Corvallis male who reported someone was inside the residence when he was supposed to be home alone. Officers searched the residence and located the male’s brother who lived at the residence. No crime.

June 8th

Menacing/Disorderly Conduct – Officers responded to the 100 block of SW Avery Ave on report of a male chasing another with a knife stating he was going to kill the male.  The suspect, a 36-year-old male with no fixed address, was located nearby and quickly taken into custody.  Officers did not locate the knife in the area and no one was injured.  The male was booked into the Benton County Jail.

Theft – Officers responded to the 400 block of SW 3rd St on report of a male stealing from the property.  The officer identified the male as a 22-year-old male with no fixed address.  The officers were not able to locate the male.  The case is pending contact with the male. 

Reckless Burning – Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of SE 3rd Street for the report of a small fire in some vegetation near a structure. Firefighters determined the fire was started intentionally by someone. Officers did not locate any suspects.

Warrant Arrest – Officers were on patrol in the 2600 block of NW 9th Street when they contacted a 30 year old male suspect, no fixed address, who had a warrant for his arrest. The warrant was out of Linn County for Unlawful Purchasing of a Firearm. Officers searched the suspect’s vehicle and found heroin and methamphetamine. The suspect was cited for the warrant and drugs.

Theft – Officers were dispatched to NW Grant and Highland for the report of a theft from a vehicle. Officers discovered an unknown person siphoned $30 worth of gas out of a vehicle in the area. There was no suspect information.

Warrant Arrest – Officers were on patrol in the 1400 block of NW Monroe Avenue when they contacted a 46 year old female suspect, no fixed address, who had a warrant for her arrest. The warrant was out of the Corvallis Municipal Court for Violent Conduct. Officers placed the suspect into custody and later released her with a citation for the warrant.

Warrant Arrest - A 17 year old Lebanon male was arrested on several Linn County arrest warrants after being contacted at a motel in the 400 block NW 2nd Street.  He was transported to Oak Creek detention facility.  

Domestic - A male and female were involved in a verbal domestic in the 2000 block NW Garfield Avenue.  Officers did not establish a crime occurred. 

Warrant Arrest - A 31 year old female with no fixed address was cited on an Albany Municipal court warrant for theft when she was contacted in the 500 block SW Madison Avenue. 

June 7th

Burglary – Officers were dispatched to the 4500 NW Big Oak Place for the report of a burglary. Officers discovered an unknown person broke into a laundry area of an apartment complex and stole clothing from the victim.

Theft – Officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of NE Oxford Circle for the report of a bike theft. Officers discovered an unknown person stole a children’s bike from the area. The victim found the bike a few blocks away completely stripped. There was no suspect information.

Theft– Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of NW Garfield Avenue for the report of a theft. Officers discovered an unknown person entered the backyard area of the residence. The suspect then stole a couple bags of cans from the back patio. There was no suspect information.

Theft – Officers were dispatched to the 3100 block for the report of a stolen bike. Officers learned an unknown suspect stole a bike worth $800 from the residence. There was no suspect information.

Theft – Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of NW Buchanan Avenue for the report of a stolen bike. Officers learned an unknown person stole a bike from the area by cutting the lock attached to it. There was no suspect information.

Theft – Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of NW 4th Street for the report of a theft in progress. Officers discovered a 32 year old male suspect, no fixed address, had stolen a bike from a nearby bike rack. Officers searched the area and located the suspect a few blocks away. The suspect admitted to taking the bike. The bike was recovered and the suspect was cited for the theft.

Injury Crash – Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 29th and Grant for a vehicle versus bike crash. Officers discovered the bicyclist ran the stop sign and turned abruptly in front of the vehicle that hit them. The bike operator sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. The vehicle sustained light damage.

Criminal Mischief/Theft – Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of NE Conifer Boulevard for the report of theft. Officers discovered an unknown person cut the fence along the backside of a residence. The suspect then proceeded to steal multiple bags of cans from the back porch area. There was no suspect information.

Warrant Arrest – Officers were on patrol near NW Maple Avenue and NW Dixon Street when they made contact with a 28 year old male suspect, Corvallis Resident. The suspect had multiple warrants for his arrest for Assault. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Linn County Jail.

Theft – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of SW Madison Avenue for the report of a shoplift that just occurred. Officers discovered a male and female entered a store in the area and stole multiple items before leaving in their vehicle. There was no viable suspect information.

Domestic Disturbance – Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of SW Twin Oaks Circle for the report of a physical domestic between a 40 year old male suspect, Corvallis Resident, and his 41 year old female girlfriend, Corvallis Resident. Officers located the suspect at the scene. Officers discovered the male and female were arguing loudly when the male grabbed the female by the wrist and windup his arm as if he was going to punch her. The male ultimately did not punch the female. Officers attempted to locate the female but she fled the scene before officers arrived and could not be located. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the police station where he was later released with a citation for disorderly conduct.

Warrant Arrest – Officers were on patrol in the area of NW Division Street and NW Hayes Avenue when they contacted a 39 year old female suspect, no fixed address, who had multiple warrants for her arrest for Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Officers contacted the suspect and placed her into custody. The suspect was later released with a citation for her warrants.

Warrant Arrest – Officers were on patrol near 9th and Hayes when they contacted a 53 year old male suspect, no fixed address, who had a warrant for his arrest for Disorderly Conduct. Officers placed the suspect into custody and he was later released with a citation.

Warrant Arrest - A 37 year old female with no fixed address was cited on a Lake County Circuit Court warrant after being contacted in the 1100 block NW Van Buren Avenue.  The officer recognized the female and contacted her upon learning of her warrant. 

Reckless Driving - A 20 year old male was cited for Reckless Driving after a report of him driving recklessly in the parking lot of a convenience store in the 2400 block SE 3rd Street. The driver was involved in a confrontation with someone in the parking lot and then went driving recklessly back and forth in front of the business. 

Warrant Arrest - A 23 year old Corvallis female and a 26 year old Corvallis male were cited on various warrants when they were contacted in the parking lot of a business in the 5200 block SW Philomath Blvd.  The female had a Lincoln County FTA-DCS Heroin warrant, and the male had a Benton County, Polk County and Dallas Municipal court warrant for FTA-DWS.  

June 6th

Violent Conduct/Trespass – Officers responded to the 200 block of SE Chapman Pl on report of a male making threatening statements.  The male, a 70-year-old male with no fixed address, was issued a citation and removed from the property.

AOA Fire Department – Officers responded to the 2400 block of NW Arthur Ave on report of a house fire.  Officers arrived and found a fully involved house fire.  They assisted by evacuating the residence and blocking traffic.  A resident believed a small fire in an outdoor fireplace was not fully extinguished causing the house to catch fire.  There were no injuries.   

Burglary – An officer responded to the 700 block of SW Chickadee St on report of a burglary occurring overnight.  The suspect stole a gaming console and a laptop computer.

Theft – Officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of NW Harrison Blvd. for the report of a theft. Officers discovered an unknown suspect at an unknown time stole a wallet from a residence. There was no suspect information.

Criminal Mischief – Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of NW Highland Drive for the report of damage to a vehicle. Officers discovered and unknown suspect broke a window to a vehicle in the area before fleeing.

Mail Theft – Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of SE Vera Avenue for the report of mail theft. Officers discovered some packages were stolen from residence nearby and the empty boxes found discarded a block away. There was no suspect information.

MIP/Trespass - A victim in the 1300 block SW E Avenue reported a drunk male entered their apartment. The male was apparently lost and stated he was being chased by others.  He was cited for MIP and released to a sober family member. 

Warrant Arrest - A 25 year old Corvallis female was cited on a Albany Municipal, Linn County Justice Court, Lebanon Municipal, and Sweet Home Municipal court warrants when she was contacted on NE Oxford Circle. 

Car Prowl - An officer interrupted a possible car prowl in progress in the area of NE Lancaster St/NE Conifer Blvd.  The male fled the area and was not located. 

June 5th

Domestic Disturbance – Officers responded to the area of SW Philomath Blvd and SW 53rd St for a report of a male and female yelling at each other. Officers contacted the involved parties and identified them a 52 y/o female and a 51 y/o male, both residents of Alsea. The female alleged the male had pointed a firearm at her and broke her phone the previous day at their residence. The female became uncooperative during the interview, refused to speak with officers and left the area on foot. The male denied the allegations. Because the alleged crimes occurred in Alsea, the investigation was turned over to the Benton County Sherriff’s Office.

Bike Theft – An officer investigated a bike theft in the 500 block of SW Washington Ave. An unknown suspect stole the victim’s bike when he briefly when inside a store. The victim returned outside to see a male suspect riding away on their bike. The suspect was not located or identified.

Theft – Officers investigated the theft of a phone in the 1100 block of NW 9th St. The victim reported they lost their phone a few days prior, and it had pinged to a location on NW 9th St. The victim called the phone and an unknown person answered and then immediately disconnected. The victim did not report the incident initially and the tracker had since been turned off. There is no suspect information.

SRN 1 – Officers responded to the 2900 block of SW Morris Av for a loud party.  The 20-year-old Corvallis resident was issued an initial SRN for loud noise and unlawful amplified sound.

SRN 1 – Officers responded to the 3600 block of NW Van Buren Av for a loud party.  The 21-year-old Corvallis resident was issued an initial SRN for loud noise and unlawful amplified sound.

SRN 1 – Officers responded to the 2600 block of SW Western Bv for a loud party.  The 22-year-old Corvallis resident was issued an initial SRN for loud noise and unlawful amplified sound.

Criminal Trespass I – A 22-year-old Corvallis resident reported an unknown person tried to enter their residence through an open sliding door in the 1000 block of SW 11th St.  The suspect was not located and no description was available.

Suspicious Circumstances – A Merchant Valley Police Security Officer reported a suspicious vehicle in the area of the 33900 block of Roche Ln.  Officers contacted multiple people and three vehicles and determined no crime occurred.

Warrant Arrest - A 50 year old Corvallis male with no fixed address, was contacted in the 2800 block of SW Western Bv.  He was cited, in lieu of custody, for multiple outstanding warrants. 

Shoplift - A 49 year old Corvallis male with no fixed address, was caught shoplifting at a business in the 400 block of SW 3rd St.  He was located a cited for his offense. 

Shoplift - A 37 year old Albany female was located near the 1300 block of NW 9th St., after shoplifting at a business.  She was cited for her offense. 

June 4th

Shoplift – An officer investigated a shoplift in the 1500 block of SW 53rd St. A male suspect stole $700 worth of merchandise from a store and concealed the items in nearby bushes. The male fled the area when he noticed employees watching him. The suspect was not identified.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 27 y/o female with no fixed address near the intersection of SW Philomath Blvd and SW Technology Lp. The female had warrants issued out of Linn County, Benton County and Albany Municipal Court for Trespass II, Parole Violation and Making a False Report. The female was taken into custody and lodged at the Benton County Jail.

Disorderly Conduct – Officers responded to the 400 block of SW Western Blvd for a report of a male yelling at people and causing a disturbance. Officers contacted the suspect and identified him as a 70 y/o male with no fixed address. The male was cited for Disorderly Conduct II and released.

Bike Theft – Officers investigated bike theft in the 1100 block of NW 9th St. An unknown person stole a bike and bike trailer. The suspect was not identified.

Warrant Arrest – Officers responded to a trespass complaint in the 2000 block of NW Circle Blvd. Officers contacted a 43 y/o male and learned he had six warrants for his arrest issued out of Benton County Circuit Court for Driving While Suspended and Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon. He was cited and released.

Human Waste – Officers responded to the 500 SW 4th St for a report of a male defecating on the sidewalk in front of a business. The suspect left the area on foot prior to officer arrival. Officers later contacted a 70 y/o male with no fixed address and identified him as the suspect. He was trespassed from the business. 

Trespass – Officers responded to the 1900 block of SW 3rd St for a reported trespass. A 63 y/o male with no fixed address returned to a business after being previously trespassed. The male left the area prior to officer arrival but was identified. The case is pending the suspect’s arrest.

Menacing – Officers responded to the 200 block of SW Chapman Pl for a report of a male menacing another person with a stick. Officers located and detained the suspect, identified as a 70 y/o male with no fixed address. The suspect was charged with Menacing, Criminal Trespass II, Harassment and Disorderly Conduct II. Due to jail limitations, he was cited and released.

Attempted Assault – Officers responded to the 100 block of NE Conifer Blvd for a reported domestic disturbance. Officers learned two adult females were arguing when a 28 y/o female punched the other female. The victim was not injured and declined to pursue charges. Officers ensured the suspect left the home to prevent additional confrontations but no charges were filed.

Residential Burglary – Officers responded to the 700 block of NW Markham Pl for a report burglary. Officers learned an unknown suspect forced entry into a residence while the occupants were gone and stole $400 worth of marijuana. There is no suspect information at this time.

SRN 1 – Officers responded to the 300 block of NW 23rd St for a loud party.  The 22-year-old Corvallis residents were issued an initial SRN for loud noise.

Disorderly Conduct II – Officers responded to a fight in the 100 block of SW 2nd St.  When officers arrived they determined no fight occurred, it was friends escorting another friend away, and bar staff did not want any action taken.

SRN 1 – Officers responded to the 3700 block of NW Tyler Pl for a loud party.  The 23-year-old Corvallis residents were issued an initial SRN for loud noise and unlawful amplified sound.

Harassment – Officers responded to the 700 block of SW Chickadee St for a security guard threatening people.  The 53-year-old security guard was attempting to break up a party and made threats to the party-goers if they did not cooperate.  No PC could be developed for a crime.

Suspicious Activity – An Officer responded to the 2600 block of SE Ryan St for a homeowner reporting someone throwing rocks at their home.  No damage, no evidence and no suspects.

Suspicious Activity – Officers responded to the 700 block of NW Kings Bv for a report of a male running around covered in blood.  The male and his friends left prior to Police arrival and could not be located.

Non-Injury Crash – A 49-year-old male backed his vehicle into a patrol vehicle causing very minimal damage in the 1100 block of NW 9th St.

PCS Heroin – Officers contacted a 26-year-old Corvallis resident in the 1100 block of NW 9th St.  The male had a loaded syringe of heroin in his possession and was issued a citation.

Domestic Disturbance – Officers responded to the 200 block of SW 2nd St for an argument.  Officers determined the argument was verbal only, there was no evidence of a crime.

June 3rd

Shoplift – Officers investigated a shoplift from a business located in the 1700 block of NE Four Acre Pl. An unknown male stole a bike lock and two headlamps and attempted to leave the store but was stopped by loss prevention and the items were recovered. The suspect was not identified.

Theft – Officers investigated a theft at a beauty supply store in the 2000 block of NW Circle Blvd. An unknown suspect stole $180 worth of hair extensions and left the area in a vehicle. The suspect was not identified.

Shoplift – Officers responded to the 400 block of SW 4th St for a reported shoplift. Officers learned a 49 y/o male with no fixed address stole several items and left the store. Officers located the male and learned he had been previously trespassed from the store. The suspect was cited and released for Theft II and Trespass I.

Trespass – Officers responded to the 3600 block of NW Samaritan Dr after a female was discharged from the hospital and refused to leave the property. Officers contacted the suspect and identified her as a 48 y/o female with no fixed address. Officers directed her to leave the property and issued a trespass notice at the request of hospital staff. The female refused to leave and was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Law Enforcement Center. She was cited for Trespass II through Corvallis Municipal Court and released.

Open Container – Officers responded to 100 block of SW Jefferson Ave for after receiving a report of a group of males drinking alcohol in public. Officers contacted three males, one of which was in possession of an open container. The suspect was identified as a 49 y/o male with no fixed address. He was issued a citation for Open Container and released.

SRN 1 – An Officer responded to the 2200 block of NW Harrison Bv for a loud party.  The officer issued the 20-year-old Corvallis resident an initial SRN for loud noise and unlawful amplified noise.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 60-year-old transient male in the 3600 block of NW Samaritan Dr.  The male had multiple warrants out of multiple jurisdictions.  He was issued citations for eight arrest warrants.

Criminal Mischief – An Officer responded to the 3700 block of SW Bunchberry Av for an egging.  The victims vehicle was egged in the parking lot, no suspect information available.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 33-year-old transient male in the 200 block of SE Chapman Pl.  The male was issued citations for active arrest warrants.

Menacing, Disorderly Conduct II, Interfering, Escape I and Resisting Arrest – Officers responded to the 3600 block of NW Samaritan Dr for a 32-year-old transient female threatening hospital staff with a hammer.  The female left the area and ran from officers when contacted.  The female was taken into custody on Hwy 99W.  While in custody the female slipped her handcuffs, threatened officers with the handcuffs and resisted being put back in handcuffs.  She was later booked into the jail.

June 2nd

Warrant Service/PC Arrest: At approximately 1005 hours, Officers were patrolling in the area of 23rd and Garfield when they observed a 46 year old male with no fixed address. Officers knew the male was a suspect wanted in connection with several crimes earlier this week, and that he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was contacted and arrested and transported to the Benton County Jail on his warrant and new charges.

Fraud: At approximately 1056 hours, Officers took a report of fraud from a business in the 200 block of NW 2nd Street. The victim reported that over two months ago someone used a stolen credit card to make a purchase from the store, and the store was just notified of the purchase.

Trespass: At approximately 1220 hours, Officers responded to a business in the 2000 block of NW 9th Street for a trespass. The business reported a male was refusing to leave, and they wanted him trespassed. Officers contacted the male off the property, and he was trespassed from the property.

Trespass: At approximately 1230 hours, Officers responded to a different business in the 2000 block of NW 9th Street for a trespass. The business reported a different male had been in and out of the store causing problems, and they wanted him trespassed.

Warrant Arrest – Officers responded to the 1000 block of SE 3rd St for a reported trespass. A 70 y/o male with no fixed address was refusing to leave a business. Officers contacted the male and learned he had 10 warrants issued out of Benton County Circuit Court for Interfering, Trespass II Disorderly Conduct II, Criminal Mischief II, Interfering with Public Transportation and Harassment. Due to jail capacity, he was cited and released.

Menacing - A 39 year old Salem male was cited for Menacing after a disturbance with his girlfriend where he allegedly displayed a replica handgun near the intersection of SW 1st ST/SW Madison Avenue.  

Cybercrime - A Corvallis male reported that a female who was unknown to him was threatening to disseminate nude photos of him if he didn’t send her money.

Loud stereo -  A 21 year old Corvallis male was cited for Unlawful Amplified Sound at a residence in the 100 block NW 12th Street.  

June 1st

Burglary – An officer responded to the 1700 block of NW 9th St on report of a burglary overnight.  It was reported someone broke into the building and damaged a lottery machine.

Violent Conduct – Officers responded to the 500 block of SW 4th St on report of an assault.  A 65-year-old male with no fixed address reported a 55-year-old male with no fixed address punched him in the head.  The suspect was located in town and issued a citation.

Warrant – Officers responded to the 500 block of SW Monroe Ave on report of a male shouting and causing a disturbance.  The 63-year-old male with no fixed address was the subject of a Benton County warrant.  He was issued a citation in lieu of custody and moved along. 

Assault – Officers responded to the 6300 block of SW Grand Oaks Dr on report of a fight between roommates.  It was determined a 21-year-old Corvallis female struck her roommate.  The suspect was arrested and booked into the Benton County Jail. 

Open Container – Officers were on patrol in the 900 block of NW Grant Avenue when they contacted a 28 year old male suspect, no fixed address, who had an open container of alcohol in his hand. The male was also flicking the end of a syringe when officers contacted him. The suspect was cited in lieu of custody for having an open container of alcohol in a public place.

 DUII – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 300 block of NW Van Buren Avenue. Officers discovered the 35 year old male suspect, no fixed address, was intoxicated while driving. The suspect was placed into custody and transported to the police station where it was determined his blood alcohol concentration was .08%. The suspect was later released with citations for his crimes.

 Theft – Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of NW 23rd Street for the report of a theft from vehicle. Officers discovered a 41 year old male suspect, Independence Resident, stole a gas can out of the bed of a truck. The suspect also siphoned gas from the vehicle. The victim confronted the suspect about the incident and the suspect admitted to stealing the gas. The suspect left before officers arrived on scene.

Burglary - Residents’ at an apartment complex in the 3700 block SW Bunchberry Avenue reported a burglary in progress in their apartment, and were hiding in their rooms.  Officers contacted a male who allegedly was there to pack up the property of another roommate who was out of the country and didn’t make any effort to notify the tenants of his plan. 

 Non-Injury Crash - A non injury crash was reported in the 3500 block NW Roosevelt Drive.  A 21 year old Corvallis male was cited for fail to drive within lane after striking a parked car.  

May 31st

Theft – An officer responded to the 400 block of SW Madison Ave on report of an unknown male stealing property.  The male stole about $20 worth of merchandise and was not located.

Theft from a Vehicle – Four wheels were removed from a trailer overnight in the 1800 block of NW 9th St.  There is no suspect information. 

Warrant Arrest – Officers were on patrol in the 300 block of SW 1st Street when they made contact with a 39 year old male, no fixed address, who had a warrant for his arrest. Officers placed the male into custody and he was later released with a citation for his warrant.

 Trespass – Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of NW 3rd Street for the report of a 63 year old male suspect, no fixed address, trespassing at a local restaurant. The suspect kept asking for alcohol and was harassing customers. The suspect came and left multiple times throughout the day. Officers contacted the suspect nearby and he was trespassed from the property.

 Shoplift – Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of SE 3rd Street for the report of a shoplift. Officers discovered a 49 year old male suspect, no fixed address, entered the store and stole multiple items. The suspect had been previously trespassed from the store for stealing in the past. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

 Warrant Arrest – Officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of NE Lancaster Street for the report of a domestic disturbance. Officers arrived and discovered the incident was a verbal argument only. The involved 26 year old male suspect, Corvallis Resident, had a warrant for his arrest. The male was placed into custody and later released with a citation for the warrant.

 Warrant Arrest – Officers were on patrol in the 3400 block of NE Oxford Circle when they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area. Officers discovered the 48 year old female driver, Corvallis Resident, had a suspended license. They also discovered the suspect had multiple warrants for her arrest. The suspect was placed into custody and later released with a citation for her warrants.

 DUII – Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of SW Western Blvd. for the report of a car driving recklessly and onto the sidewalk. Officers discovered a 24 year old male suspect, Albany Resident, was drunk and driving recklessly around the area. The suspect pushed his 20 year old girlfriend victim, Albany Resident, out of the vehicle during the course of this. The suspect also threw her belongings out of the car as he drove. The suspect was contacted by officers nearby and placed into custody for numerous crimes to include DUII, Harassment, and Reckless Driving.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle - An officer located an unoccupied stolen Chevy Cruz sedan in the 3500 block SW Deschutes Street.  The vehicle had been reported stolen out of Beaverton on May 14th.  It was impounded for the owner to recover.   

 DWS (Misdemeanor) - A 26 year old Corvallis male was cited for DWS misdemeanor after being contacted on a traffic stop at NW 2nd Street/NW Tyler Avenue.  

May 30th

Reckless Driving – Officers responded to the area of NW 3rd St and NW Harrison Blvd on report of a reckless driver.  Witnesses reported a male who almost caused an accident by swerving from his lane.  The 25-year-old Eugene male was located and taken into custody.  He was issued a citation and released from custody at the LEC.

Warrant/Disorderly Conduct – Officers responded to the 200 block of NW Van Buren Ave on report of a male walking into the roadway.  A 54-year-old male was located and found to be the subject of an Albany warrant.  He was issued citations for the warrant as well as Disorderly Conduct.

Stolen Vehicle – Officers responded to the 900 block of NW Circle Blvd on report of a pickup being stolen overnight.  Shortly after the report, a person called dispatch to report an unknown pickup showed up on their property on NW Highland Dell Dr.  The stereo was removed, but left in the pickup.  Evidence was collected and the pickup was retrieved by the owner. 

Warrant – An officer contacted a 42-year-old male with no fixed address in the 400 block of SW Jefferson Ave.  The male was the subject of three Benton County warrants.  He was issued a citation in lieu of custody. 

Warrant – An officer contacted a 58-year-old male with no fixed address in the 400 block of SW Washington Ave.  The male was the subject of a Benton County warrant.  He was issued a citation in lieu of custody. 

Warrant – An officer contacted a 28-year-old male with no fixed address in the 200 block of SW Monroe Ave.  The male was the subject of a Philomath warrant.  He was issued a citation in lieu of custody. 

Trespassing – Officers responded to the 2000 block of NW 9th St on report of a male returning to the property after being trespassed the night prior.  The 63-year-old male with no fixed address was arrested and transported to the LEC where he was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant – Officers responded to the 2900 block of NE Lancaster St on report of a 32-year-old Corvallis male causing a disturbance at his parents’ residence.  The male was the subject of two Benton County warrants and one Corvallis warrant.  He was transported to the LEC where he was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 53 year old male, no fixed address, in the 1400 block of NW 9th Street who had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was placed into custody and later released with a citation for his warrants.

Warrant Arrest – Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of NW Sycamore Avenue for the report of a male trespassing in a residence. When officers arrived they discovered the male actually lived there and was just having an argument with his 40 year old girlfriend, Corvallis Resident. The 40 year old female suspect had a warrant for her arrest. The suspect was issued a citation for the warrant.

Disorderly Conduct – Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of NW 34th Street for the report of a 54 year old male suspect, Corvallis Resident, trying to attack a 52 year old female victim, Corvallis Resident, in her vehicle. Officers discovered the suspect was walking his dog past the victim’s vehicle and then began to accost the victim for an unknown reason. After the victim armed herself with some rose clippers to defend herself the suspect left the scene. Officers contacted the suspect blocks away and placed him into custody. The suspect was transported to the police station and released with a citation for the incident.

Robbery/Burglary – Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of NW 7th Street for an unknown problem. Upon arrived, officers discovered a 36 year old male suspect, Corvallis Resident, kicked in the door to his ex-girlfriend’s residence. The suspect then went after the victim and stole her cellphone from her as he held her down to the ground. The victim was attempting to contact police but was unsuccessful before the phone was taken from her. The suspect later left the scene and the victim knocked on a nearby door to ask someone to call the police. Officers located the suspect a few blocks away and placed him into custody. The suspect was also wanted for previously assaulting the victim. The suspect was transported to the Benton County Jail.

Trespass - A 40 year old male with no fixed address was cited for Criminal Trespass after being contacted on a trespass complaint at a motel in the 400 block NW 2nd Street. 

May 29th

Domestic Disturbance: At approximately 0723 hours, Officers responded to the 300 block of SE Lilly Avenue for a report of a domestic. The caller reported hearing glass breaking and a male screaming at his mother. Officers contacted an intoxicated 33 year old male that was having an argument with his mother. The male damaged property at the residence where he lives. The mother was given a courtesy transport to another location and the male was released on scene.

Criminal Mischief: At approximately 1000 hours, Officers responded to a residence in the 300 block of NW Kings Boulevard for a report of several vehicles that had been entered. The victim reported several vehicles had been broken into, but it did not appear as if anything had been stolen out of the vehicles.

Burglary: At approximately 1016 hours, Officers responded to a residence in the 600 block of SW Sagebrush Drive for a reported burglary. The victim called to report that the residence was left unlocked and now an Xbox gaming console had been stolen.

Warrant Service: At approximately 1226 hours, Officers contacted a reported stolen RV trailer in the 3600 block of Lancaster Street. A 31 year old male with no fixed address was contacted in the trailer, and arrested on multiple felony warrants. The male was also charged with possession of a stolen vehicle for the trailer. He was transported to the Benton County Jail and lodged.

Shoplift – An officer investigated a shoplift in the 500 block of NE Circle Blvd. An unknown male stole a case of beer and left in a vehicle. The investigating officer is attempting to identify the suspect.

Warrant Arrest – Officers responded to the 100 block of SE Fischer Ln for a reported domestic disturbance. A 39 y/o female with no fixed address reported a 32 y/o male with no fixed address was causing a disturbance and threatening her. Officers contacted the male and learned he had multiple warrants for his arrest issued out of Benton County Circuit Court, including Reckless Burning, Theft III, Criminal Mischief II and Disorderly Conduct II. He was also in possession of a methamphetamine pipe. The female was no longer in the area and was not answering her phone. The male was cited and released on his warrants and possession of methamphetamine.

Interfering – An officer observed a 46 y/o male with no fixed address riding a bicycle near the intersection of NW Kings Blvd and NW Grant Ave. The officer recognized the male and knew he had warrants for his arrest and was wanted in connection with a previous car prowl investigation. The officer attempted to stop the male but he fled and was not located.

Warrant Arrest – An officer contacted a 35 y/o male with no fixed address in the 1200 block of NW 10th St. The male had a warrant issued out of Benton County Circuit Court for Possession of Methamphetamine. He was cited and release.

Warrant Arrest – An officer contacted a 35 y/o male with no fixed address in the 1000 block of NW 23rd St. The male had a warrant issued out of Linn County Circuit Court for Failure to Appear Possession of Methamphetamine. He was cited and released.

DUII / Hit and Run – Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of SW 2nd St for a report of a 22-year-old Corvallis male who drove his car into the outside seating area of a bar and left the area. The suspect was contacted a nearby, conducted field sobriety tests, and was arrested for DUII, Fail to Perform Duties of a Driver, Reckless Driving, and Reckless Endangering. The suspect’s blood alcohol content was 0.15%.

Disorderly Conduct – Officers responded to the 3700 block of SW Bunchberry Ave for a report of a 19 year old Corvallis male who was in a physical altercation with a group of males of similar age. The suspects were never located and the victim did not want to pursue charges.

Disorderly Conduct – Officers responded to the 700 block of SW Chickadee St for a report of a fight. Two males, ages 19 and 20, from Corvallis had conflicting statements about what occurred and they did not want to pursue charges. No arrests were made.

Menacing – Officers responded for a report of a 44 year old Corvallis male pulling a knife on a group of 22 year old males. After talking to all involved parties, the male had the knife out due to the group of males allegedly following him and being verbally aggressive. There were no statements that the male who had the knife said or did anything threatening while having it, and stated he had it out because he thought he was going to be in a physical altercation. There was no probable cause a crime occurred.

May 28th

Burglary: At approximately 0730 hours, Officers responded to a report of a burglary in the 3800 block of NW Walnut Boulevard. The victim called to report that someone broke out a window and then broke into several storage containers at a construction site. The burglary occurred sometime during the night.

Fraud: At approximately 0849 hours, Officers took a report of a fraud in the 6200 block of SW Chestnut Drive. The victim reported that they were informed by unemployment that someone had filed for unemployment in their name. 

Burglary: At approximately 1231 hours, Officers took a report of a burglary in the 1800 block of SW Whiteside Drive. The victim reported that between last night and this afternoon someone broke in the residence and stole change and several computers and musical instruments. 

Theft: At approximately 1307 hours, Officers responded to a report of a theft in the 200 block of SE Chapman Place. The victim reported a 19 foot Prowler Lynx camp trailer was stolen sometime in the last week.

Burglary – Officers investigated a residential burglary in the 4900 block of SW Roseberry St. A home in that area had been burned during a house fire and the resident was living elsewhere while repairs were being completed. Two unknown females were observed by neighbors entering the residence and steeling cowgirl boots. There was only a generic description provided and the suspects were not identified.

Burglary – Officers investigated a burglary of two storage units in the 400 block of NE Circle Blvd. An unknown person cut the lock off two separate storage units and stole property from inside. There is no suspect information.

Warrant Arrest – An officer contacted a 31 y/o male with no fixed address in the 2100 block of NW 9th St. The male had three warrants issued out of Benton County Circuit Court for Escape III, Interfering with a Peace Officer, Criminal Trespass II, Theft and Disorderly Conduct II. Additionally, methamphetamine was located on his person when he was taken into custody. In addition to the warrants, the male was wanted for two previous investigations. Due to jail limitations, he was issued citations for the warrants, previous charges and a violation citation for being in possession of methamphetamine.

Hit and Run – Officers investigated a hit and run in the 2500 block of NW 9th St. A witness reported a pickup truck backed into a parked sedan and the driver left the area without providing the required information. The witness provide a plate for the suspect vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

Welfare Check – Officers responded to the 600 block of NW Walnut Blvd for a welfare check on a 19 y/o male with developmental disabilities. It was reported his guardian appeared under the influence of a controlled substance and unable to properly care for him. Officers conducted a check of the residence and spoke with the guardian and 19 y/o. No indications of drug use was present and the male appeared well cared for.

Theft – An officer investigated the theft of a small dog in the 6000 block of SW Grand Oaks Dr. A Corvallis resident reported their dog was stolen from the apartment complex by an unknown person. There are no investigative leads.

Violation of Release Agreement – Officers responded to the 2600 block of SW Morris Ave for a reported violation of a not contact release agreement. A 49 y/o female Corvallis resident reported her boyfriend was causing a disturbance inside her home. Officers located a 36 y/o male Corvallis resident inside the residence. The investigating officer confirmed there was a valid order prohibiting the male from contacting the female stemming from a previous domestic violence arrest. The male was taken into custody and lodged at the Benton County Jail for violating the order.

Traffic Stop/MIP – An officer conducted a traffic stop of a 18 year old Corvallis male at the 3500 block of SW Western Blvd. The officer performed voluntary SFST’s and did not have PC to arrest for DUII. The driver was issued a citation for MIP-Alcohol and arrangements were made for another driver to come get him and his vehicle.

Loud Noise – An officer responded to the 100 block of NW 30th St for a report of a loud party. The officer contacted the resident who was a 22-year old male from Corvallis. The male was advised of the complaint and issued a special response notice for loud noise.

Theft/MIP – An officer saw a 20-year-old Corvallis male in the 900 block of NW VanBuren Ave carrying a construction sign from the downtown construction zone. The male was contacted, had been drinking alcohol, and admitted to the theft. The male was cited for the MIP, warned for the theft, and the sign was returned.

Violation of a No Contact Order – Officers responded to the 4400 block of NW Appletree Pl for a report of a domestic disturbance. Dispatch advised there was a no contact order between a 64-year-old male and 51-year-old female residing at the residence. Both parties were present and the male was taken into custody for the no contact order. It was later determined the no-contact order was no longer valid and the male was released on scene.

May 27th

Theft/Trespass: At approximately 0833 hours, Officers responded to a business in the 400 block of SW 3rd Street, for a report of a previously trespassed male that had entered the store and stole several items. Officers located the suspect and identified him as a 49 year old male resident of Corvallis. The male was arrested for shoplifting and trespassing and was cited and released at the LEC.

Warrant Service: At approximately 1021 hours, Officers were patrolling in the area of the Skate Park, when they observed a known 40 year old male with no fixed address. A records check of the male showed he had a warrant out of Sweet Home. The male was cited and released on his warrant.

Fraud: At approximately 1047 hours, Officers took a report of a fraud in the 600 block of SW 7th Street. The victim called to report that someone posing as Amazon support was able to gain access to a Cash App and transferred funds, in some sort of a scam.

Theft: At approximately 1130 hours, Officers contacted a victim in the 100 block of SW 2nd Street for a reported theft. The victim reported they had dropped off artwork at a business to have work done, and now the shop was closed and they could not contact the owners about the art work.

Stolen Vehicle – Officers investigated a vehicle theft in the 800 block of NW 23rd St. The victim reported their vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of their apartment complex. The vehicle was entered into law enforcement databases as stolen. There is no suspect information at this time.

Nudity – Officers responded to the 500 block of SW Madison Ave for a report of a male walking in the area and showing his genitals at members of the public. A 28 y/o male with no fixed address was contacted and identified as the suspect. The male was subsequently issued a citation in lieu of custody for Nudity under Corvallis Municipal Code.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 41 y/o Corvallis resident in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center after he came to the police department to register as a sex offender. The male had a warrant for Failure to Appear on a Failure to Register as a Sex Offender charge issued through Benton County Circuit Court. The male was cited and released.

Criminal Mischief – An officer investigated a reported criminal mischief in the 400 block of SW Western Blvd. A business owner reported unknown people were using his exterior water faucet without permission and often left the water running after use, causing unnecessary waste. The property owner placed a lock of the faucet to prevent the water theft but the lock was cut. There is no suspect information at this time. 

Car Prowl – Officers investigated a reported car prowl in the 2600 block of NE Lancaster St. An unknown person shattered the window of a vehicle and stole several items from inside. There is no suspect information.

Disorderly Conduct – Officers responded to the 1300 block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a male banging on a dumpster who threatened to beat up another male. The suspect left the area prior to police arriving and was not located.

AOA – Violation of Restraining Order – Officers were contacted by a Lane County Sheriff Deputy regarding a violation of a restraining order by a 32-year-old Corvallis male. Lane County Sheriff’s Office sent a signed probable cause affidavit and Corvallis Officers responded to the residence in the 300 block of SE Goodnight Ave and took the male into custody. The male was transported to Monroe where a Lane County Deputy took custody of the male and the male was transported to the Lane County Jail.

May 26th

UEMV: At approximately 0846 hours, Officers responded to the 2200 block of NW Hayes Avenue for a report of a vehicle that was broken into. The victim reported their vehicle was entered earlier in the morning, and now someone was using their credit cards to make purchases.

Burglary: At approximately 1032 hours, Officers responded to a business in the 3800 block of NW Walnut Boulevard for a reported burglary. The victim reported sometime overnight someone had broken into a construction site and stole a number of tools.

Theft/Trespass: At approximately 1242 hours, Officers responded to a business in the 1700 block of NW 9th Street. The business reported a male was passed out on the floor and was refusing to leave. Officers contacted a 43 year old male with no fixed address. The male was sleeping on the floor, and when he was woken up he reported that someone stole his phone and money while he was sleeping on the floor. The male was trespassed from the business.

Warrant Service: At approximately 1341 hours, Officers contacted a 70 year old male in the area of 14th and Monroe. The male reported he may have hit a vehicle with his bicycle, and he wanted to report it. A records check of the male showed he had a warrant out of Corvallis of Public Indecency. The male was cited and released on his warrant.

Nudity – Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of SW Monroe Avenue for the report of a naked male near a playground in the park where children were playing. Officers contacted a 34 year old male, Arizona Resident, who stated he was naked. The male did not give a good reason for being naked. The male suspect was cited for being nude in public.

Burglary – Officers were dispatched to the 5600 block of SW Bluestem Place for the report of a burglary. Officers discovered an unknown suspect broke into a garage and stole a bicycle.

Stolen Vehicle – Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of SE Vica Way for the report of a stolen motorcycle. Officers discovered an unknown suspect stole a motorcycle from the area over the past few days.

Overdose – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of NW Kings Blvd. for the report of a 30 year old male, Corvallis Resident, overdosing on heroin. Officers arrived on scene and administered Narcan to the unconscious male. CPR was performed on the male as well. He eventually regained consciousness and was transported to the hospital by Paramedics. 

Unauthorized Use of Vehicle – An officer responded to the 200 block of NW 21st St to contact a 29 year old Corvallis male regarding his vehicle being stolen. The victim stated sometime in the last two days an unknown person stole his vehicle. There is no suspect information.

Warrant Arrest – An officer responded to a report of a woman screaming in the 100 block of NW 2nd St. The officer contacted a 49 year old Corvallis male with no fixed address. The male had a misdemeanor warrant for Theft 3 and was cited in lieu of custody.

May 25th

Recovered Stolen Property/Theft – Officers responded to the 1300 block of NW 9th St after a person reported they found their stolen bike.  Officers confirmed it was the stolen bike and contacted the 23-year-old male with no fixed address associated with the bike.  The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody for possessing the stolen bike. 

Warrant – An officer contacted a 37-year-old Corvallis male in the 500 block of SW Monroe Ave.  The male was the subject of an Oregon State Parole Board warrant.  He was taken into custody and booked into the Benton County Jail.

Assault – Officers responded to the 900 block of NW Grant Ave on report of an assault.  A 42-year-old Corvallis male assaulted another male after a dispute about a stolen bike.  The suspect was issued a citation in lieu of custody. 

Warrant Arrest – Officers were on patrol when they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on the Highway 34 Bypass for a traffic violation. The 32 year old female suspect, Lebanon Resident, who was driving the vehicle had multiple warrants for her arrest. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Linn County Jail.

 Fraud – Officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of NW Kings Blvd. for the report of a fraud case. Officers discovered a company was defrauded out of $37,000. The incident occurred by way of a fraudulent email making the company believe they were making a business deal with a legitimate company. There was no suspect information.

 UEMV – Officers were dispatched to the 6500 block of SW Reservoir Avenue for the report of a theft from a vehicle. Officers discovered a vehicle parked in the lot had its front passenger window shattered and items stolen from within the vehicle. The unknown suspect(s) stole a purse from the vehicle and spent over $2000 of the victim’s money before she discovered the break in.

Warrant Arrest – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of SW 2nd Street for the report of a domestic disturbance. Officers contacted a 24 year old male suspect, Corvallis Resident, who had a warrant for his arrest. The disturbance was discovered to be verbal only and the suspect was cited for his warrant out of Albany. 

 DWS - A 41 year old Corvallis male was cited for DWS Misdemeanor after being stopped for a traffic violation at NW 29th St/NW Greeley Avenue

 Warrant Arrest - A 32 year old Corvallis female was cited on an Albany Municipal court warrant after being contacted on a traffic stop at the intersection SW 35th St/SW Western Blvd.  She also had a suspended license that she was cited for as well. 

Non Injury Crash - A 22 year old Independence female was cited for a traffic violation after being involved in a non-injury crash where she struck a traffic light pole at the intersection of NW 25th ST/NW Harrison Blvd. 

Burgarly 2/Theft 2 - A 23 year old Washington male was contacted near NW 16th St/NW Van Buren Avenue and cited on follow-up from an earlier burglary investigation where he entered a garage and stole a bicycle the previous week. 

May 24th

Burglary – An officer responded to the 1400 block of NW Van Buren Ave on report of a burglary.  It was reported that about $2,000 worth of tools were stolen from the property. 

Warrant – An officer responded to the 400 block of SW Twin Oaks Cir on report of someone being threatened.  A 29-year-old Albany male was contacted as part of the complaint, which was determined to be civil, and he was found to be the subject of a Lane County arrest warrant.  The male was arrested and booked into the Benton County Jail.

Burglary – An officer responded to the 3700 block of SW West Hills Rd on report of a burglary.  It was reported that about electronics and a propane tank was stolen from the property. 

Warrant – A 33-year-old Corvallis male came to the LEC to turn himself in for a Benton County warrant.  He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant – Officers responded to the 900 block of NW Beca Ave on report of a male passed out in a vehicle.  The male was awake by the time officers arrived.  He was not in danger, but he was the subject of numerous warrants from multiple jurisdictions.  The 39-year-old male with no fixed address was arrested and booked into the Linn County Jail.

Warrant – A 30-year-old Albany male came to the LEC to turn himself in for a Benton County warrant.  He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant – A 33-year-old Albany male came to the LEC to turn himself in for a Benton County warrant.  He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Burglary – An officer responded to the 1500 block of NW Kings Blvd on report of an open door.  It was determined the property was burgled and two washer and dryers were missing.  

Burglary – Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of NW 15th Street for the report of a burglary. Officers discovered an unknown person entered the residence and stole a television from within. The incident occurred sometime over the weekend.

 Theft – Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of NE Circle Blvd. for the report of a theft that just occurred. The suspect entered the store and stole a fishing rod and other items. The suspect fled the store before officers arrived. Officers searched the area for the suspect and were unable to locate him. There was no pertinent suspect information.

 Theft – Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of NW Tyler Avenue for the report of theft from a vehicle. Officers discovered a catalytic convertor was stolen from a vehicle near the residence. There was no suspect information.

 Assault – Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of NE Conifer Blvd. for the report of an assault that occurred weeks prior. Officers discovered two males engaged in an argument in an apartment that evolved into one of the males punching the other. The victim sustained bruising to his face but did not want to pursue charges against the suspect.

 Criminal Mischief – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of NW 3rd Street for the report of damage to a vehicle. Officers discovered an unknown suspect threw a rock through the windshield of a vehicle.

 Burglary – Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of NE Four Acre Place for the report of a burglary. Officers discovered an unknown person broke into a trailer in the area and stole multiple tools. There was no suspect information.

 Suspicious Activity – Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of NW 9th Street for the report of a strange male hiding in the bushes near the hotel. Officers made contact with a 36 year old male suspect, with no fixed address, in the bushes. The suspect was discovered to be a high level sex offender. The suspect was drinking an open container of alcohol .The suspect was cited for the open container and trespassed from the property. 

 Theft – Officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of SW Western Blvd. for the report of a theft. Officers discovered a 22 year old male suspect, Canadian Citizen, sold a fake phone to the victim for nearly $800. When the victim discovered the phone was fake they confronted the suspect about it. The suspect then fled the scene and was chased by two of the victim’s relatives. The relatives lost sight of the suspect on OSU Campus. OSU Police Officers located the suspect and he ran from them. The suspect ran in and out of a nearby creek and hid in a large dumpster. The suspect was located by an OSU Officer in the dumpster. The suspect attempted to flee again and began to resist arrest. Officers from Corvallis and OSU were able to place the suspect into custody. The suspect was transported to the police station and later released with citations for his crimes.

Hit and Run- A 50 year old Corvallis male was cited for Hit and Run after he struck a building in the 5000 block SW Philomath Boulevard and left the scene without contacting the building employees.  There was minor damage to both the building and the vehicle. 

May 23rd

Warrant – Officers contacted a 63-year-old male with no fixed address in the area of NW 9th St and NW Circle Blvd.  The male was found to be the subject of Benton County and Linn County arrest warrants.  He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant – An officer contacted a 24-year-old female with no fixed address in the 1700 block of NW Circle Blvd.  The female was found to be the subject of a Benton County warrant.  Shew as issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Traffic Crash – Officers responded to the 1700 block of SE Lilly Pl on report of a traffic crash. Officers determined a 56-year-old Corvallis female suffered a medical event while in her vehicle in the 500 block of SE Atwood Ave.  The female drove south through two yards and struck a car in the 1700 block of SE Lilly Pl.  The female sustained minor injuries. 

Reckless Driving – Officers responded to the skate park on report of a person driving on the bike path, honking, speeding, and swerving around other path users.  The male was then reported as being aggressive in the 1300 block of NW 9th St.  The male was arrested, transported to the LEC, and issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Criminal Mischief- Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of NW 23rd Street for the report of a vandalism. Officers discovered an unknown person keyed a vehicle in the area causing over $1000 in damages.

Trespass – Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of NW 9th Street for the report of a 63 year old male suspect, no fixed address, refusing to leave the store. The male was lying in front of the entrance to the store and would not leave. Officers contacted the male and saw he had an open container of alcohol in his possession. Officers cited the male for the open container and he was moved along from the property.

Warrant Arrest – Officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of SW Neer Avenue for the report of a disturbance involving a female in the nude screaming. When Officers arrived the 25 year old female suspect, Corvallis Resident, was clothed and stated there was no disturbance. Officers discovered the suspect had a warrant for her arrest out of Linn County. The suspect was cited for the warrant and released at the scene.

Warrant Arrest – Officers were on patrol in the 300 block of NW 9th Street when they contacted a 40 year old male suspect, no fixed address that had multiple warrants for his arrest out of Benton County. The male was placed into custody and later cited for the warrants.

Trespass – Officers were dispatched to the 3600 block of NW Samaritan Drive for the report of a 63 year old male suspect, no fixed address, refusing to leave the hospital. Officers made contact with the male in the hospital and he refused to leave. The suspect was arrested and transported to the police station where he was released with a citation for trespassing.

Warrant Arrest - A 33 year old Corvallis female was cited on a Corvallis Municipal court warrant after being contacted near the intersection of NW Kings Blvd/NW Lincoln Avenue. 

May 22nd

Theft: At approximately 0829 hours, Officers responded to a business in the 1800 block of NW 9th Street for a reported theft. The business called to report several catalytic converters that were stolen off of vehicles in the lot. The thefts were believed to have occurred the previous night.

UEMV: At approximately 0830 hours, Officers responded to the 200 block of NW 4th Street for a report of a truck that had been broken into. The truck had a window broken out overnight, and the suspects stolen a Trimble total station and other items from inside the truck.

Theft: At approximately 1016 hours, Officers responded to the 5200 block of SW Philomath Boulevard for a report of a bicycle that had just been stolen. The victim reported someone stole their Specialized Stump Jumper mountain bike while they were in the store. It was described as being Khaki in color.

Warrant Service: At approximately 1035 hours, Officers were performing a foot patrol in the area of the park located in the 100 block of SW B Avenue. Officer contacted two known males with no fixed address in the park. One of the males was a 59 year old, and the other a 49 year old, and both had multiple warrants for their arrest. Both suspects were cited and released on their warrants.

UEMV: At approximately 1143 hours, Officers took a report of a vehicle that had been broken into in the 200 block of SE Lilly Avenue. The victim called to report that sometime overnight someone entered their unlocked vehicle and stole a knife set as well as Dewalt jumper cables.

Theft – An officer responded to the 5100 block of SW Meadow Flower Dr for a reported theft. The investigating officer learned a motorized tricycle valued at $1,500 was stolen from the front porch of a residence. There is no suspect information.

Burglary – Officers investigated a burglary of a storage unit in the 900 block of NW Jackson Ave. An unknown person forced entry into a storage unite and stole multiple items. There is no suspect information.

Domestic Disturbance – Officers responded to the 900 block of NW Garfield Ave for a reported domestic. Officered learned a 41 y/o male and a 35 y/o female had been arguing and throwing items around the house. When the male left the area in a vehicle, the female threw a yard gnome at his vehicle. The argument was witnesses by the couple’s 5 y/o daughter. No arrests were made and the incident was cross reported to DHS.

Domestic Disturbance – Officers responded to the 4000 block of NW Witham Hill Dr for a report of a male and female screaming and throwing items around the house. Officers learned a 28 y/o male and a 28 y/o female had been arguing when the male pushed the female. Officers learned the argument was due to the male suffering from autism and having difficulties related to that disability. Officers ensured everyone was safe and no arrests were made.

Trespass Notice – Officers responded to the 100 block of SW 2nd St for a 52-year-old homeless male trespassing, the male left prior to officers arrival.  There was no record of the male being issued a trespass notice and the business requested one be completed. 

Warrant Arrest – An officer contacted a 44-year-old homeless male in the area the 400 block of NE Four Acre Pl.  The male had an active arrest warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court and was issued a citation and released.

SRN 1 – An officer issued an initial SRN for loud noise and unlawful amplified music to a 21-year-old Corvallis resident in the 1500 block of NW Van Buren Av.

SRN 1 – An officer responded to the 300 block of NW 17th St for a loud party.  The 22-year-old Corvallis resident was issued an initial SRN for unlawful amplified sound.

Warrant Arrest – An officer responded to the 1400 block of NW Monroe Av for a female at the front door who was not supposed to be there.  The officer contacted the 53-year-old homeless female who had an active warrant for her arrest.  She was issued a citation and released.

May 21st

Theft: On 05/21/21 at approximately 0839 hours, Officers responded to the area of 23rd and Lincoln for a theft complaint. The victim reported they were doing some construction work in the area, and someone stole tools from inside of a locked box that was left on the property.

Trespass: At approximately 1005 hours, Officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of SE Viewmont Avenue for a trespass. The caller reported that an unknown female just walked into his residence and then left. Officers contacted a 53 year old female resident of Albany, and she was arrested for trespassing and cited and released.

Hit and Run: At approximately 1017 hours, Officers took a report of a hit and run in the 300 block of NW 3rd Street. The caller reported that a vehicle backed into theirs, and then left the scene. The suspect vehicle was a red Dodge Caravan.

Trespass: At approximately 1147 hours, Officers responded to a business in the 700 block of NE 2nd Street for a report of a trespass. The business reported a female was lying in the middle of the floor crying and refusing to leave. Officers contacted an 18 year old female resident of Corvallis, and she was trespassed from the business and transported home.

Warrant Service: At approximately 1351 hours, Officers contacted a 51 year old male with no fixed address in the 1400 block of NW 9th Street. A records check showed that the male had a warrant for his arrest out of Albany. The male was cited and released on his warrant.

Burglary – Officers investigated a residential burglary in the 3100 block of NW Shooting Star Dr. An unknown person entered the residence and stole a virtual reality gaming headset. There is no suspect information.

Car Prowl – Officers responded to the 6500 block of SW Reservoir Ave for a reported car prowl. Officers learned the vehicle window was broken out and the suspect stole a purse from inside. The suspect then used the victim’s credit cards as local businesses. The investigation is ongoing. 

Warrant Arrest – An Officer stopped a male with active arrest warrants in the 1900 block of NW 9th St.  The 43-year-old Corvallis resident was issued citations for his warrants.

Domestic Disturbance – Officers responded to the 1200 block of NW 29th St for a domestic.  Officers contacted the two Corvallis residents (26 and 24 years-old) who were uninjured, claimed the argument was verbal only and did not want any action taken.

SRN 1 – An officer responded to a loud party in the 1400 block of NW 20th St.  The 23-year-old Corvallis resident was issued an initial SRN.

Criminal Mischief II – Unknown college aged males kicked down a stop sign near the intersection of NW 25th St and NW Taylor Av.  The suspects left the area prior to officer’s arrival and were not located.  The stop sign was still in the area and Public Works was notified.

SRN 1 – An officer responded to a loud party in the 1900 block of NW Grant Av.  The 22-year-old Corvallis resident was issued an initial SRN.

Traffic Crash – Officers responded to the 900 block of NW Circle Bv for a traffic crash.  A 26-year-old Corvallis resident drove into a telephone pole and fire hydrant when he looked at his phone.  The driver was issued a citation for Careless Driving.

May 20th

Disturbance – Officers responded to the 1600 block of NW Arthur Cir for a reported domestic disturbance. Officers learned a 59 y/o male and 60 y/o female siblings were having a family dispute regarding inheritance and had been arguing. The male walked past the female at one point and bumped into her. Responding officers encouraged both parties to mediate with their respective attorney’s to resolve any further disputes.

Burglary – Officers investigated a residential burglary in the 200 block of NE Conifer Blvd. An unknown suspect entered an unlocked garage and stole a bicycle.

Warrant Arrest – Officers responded to the 300 block of SW Washington Ave for a welfare check on a male lying on the ground. Officers contacted a 56 y/o male with no fixed address and learned he had three Benton County Circuit Court warrants for Possession of Methamphetamine. He was cited and released.

Warrant Arrest – Officers responded to the 1500 block of SE Goodnight Ave for a report of an agitated male causing public alarm. Officers contacted a 42 y/o male with no fixed address and learned he had a Benton County Circuit Court warrant for Harassment. Officers determined no crime occurred related to the original disturbance and the male was cited and released for his warrant.

Warrant Arrest – A 42 y/o male turned himself in on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for Unlawful Purchase of a Firearm at the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center. He was issued a citation for the warrant and released.

Trespass - Officers responded to the area of SW 3rd ST/SW Washington Avenue for a report of several cars doors open in a fenced parked lot where a dealership stores their cars. There was a hole discovered in the fence and the cars were secured.  

Warrant Arrest/Trespass - A 29 year old Albany male was cited on a Benton County Circuit Court warrant after being contacted in a business parking lot of a closed business in the 5200 block SW Philomath Blvd. The officer learned that the suspect had been trespassed from this business complex previously and the male was cited for trespass as well.   

UUMV - A person in the 2600 block SW Leonard Street wanted to report their car stolen.  They stated they just purchased it but didn’t have any paperwork with any of the pertinent information on it, such as a license plate or vin number.  They were going to try and find some type of ownership documentation so it could be listed as stolen.  

May 19th

Trespass: At approximately 0738 hours, Officers responded to a business in the 1000 block of SE 3rd Street for a cold trespass. The business reported that a 70 year old male with no fixed address was back on the property after being previously trespassed.

Warrant Service/Trespass: At approximately 0836 hours, Officers responded to a business in the 1800 block of NW 9th Street for a trespass. The business called in to report several people sleeping in a vehicle on their property. Officers contacted a 24 year old female, and a 31 year old male with no fixed addresses. The female had a warrant for her arrest out of Albany and she was cited and released on scene and they were both trespassed. 

Trespass: At approximately 1002 hours, Officers responded to a business in the 700 block of NW Kings Boulevard for a reported trespass. The business called into report a male that had been trespassed numerous times was back on the property. Officers contacted a 42 year old male with no fixed address, and took him into custody for trespassing. The male was transported to the LEC and cited and released.

Theft: At approximately 1112 hours, Officers took a report of a theft in the 100 block of SW Alexander Avenue. The victims reported that a welding machine was stolen from the work site overnight. The welder was a gray and tan Lincoln Electric Welder on a trailer when it was stolen from the worksite. 

Burglary: At approximately 1145 hours, Officers responded to the 1800 block of SW 49th Street for a report of a burglary. The victim reported that someone had entered a garage and stolen a TV and a Berg brand bicycle sometime in the last couple of days.

Burglary – An officer investigated a residential burglary in the 3100 block of NW Van Buren Ave. An unknown suspect cut the lockbox and entered a home that was under construction during a remodel and stole the appliances. There is no suspect information.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 58 y/o male Corvallis resident in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center after he turned himself in on a warrant issued out of Benton County for DUII. The male was cited and released.

Trespass/Littering – Officers responded to the 1800 block of NW 9th St for a reported trespass. A 43 y/o male returned to a business after being issued a formal trespass notice the week prior. The suspect was initially issued a citation for Trespass II and told to leave the area. He crumpled up the citation and threw it on the ground, at which point he was taken into custody for Offensive Littering. The male was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was cited and released.

Threats Complaint - A 34 year old Corvallis male was involved in a disturbance with another person known to him in the 1500 block NW 9th Street.  The suspect was threatening the other person because he thought that person was saying disparaging things about him to others.  The suspect was identified but was not located.   

Menacing/Disorderly Conduct II/Interference/Harassment - A 43 year old Keizer male was taken into custody for several charges after being contacted in the 1300 Block NW Garfield Avenue on a disturbance complaint.  This male accosted a person who had driven into their own driveway on NW Grant Circle, charging at the victim while he was still sitting in the vehicle and throwing a rock at his vehicle.  An officer contacted him a short distance away and he was taken into custody. He was transported to the LEC and released on citations.   

Stolen Vehicle - A victim reported the theft of a Honda motorcycle from their residence in the 1300 block NW Kings Boulevard.  The motorcycle had an Idaho license plate and was entered into NCIC/LEDS. 

Warrant Arrest - A 35 year old male turned himself in at the LEC on a Lane County Circuit Court warrant for DUII.  He was cited in lieu of custody. 

Burglary/Theft 1/Possess Concealed Weapon/Warrant Arrest - A 23 year old male with no fixed address was taken into custody for Burglary and other charges after he was contacted during a reported theft of money from an apartment complex laundromat in the 3500 block NE Lancaster Boulevard.  The suspect was also in possession of $3400 bicycle that was reported stolen from an unrelated burglary earlier in the month.  He also had two Benton County arrest warrants (Criminal Trespass, PCS Heroin). He was transported to the LEC and released on citations.   

May 18th

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 34 year old female with no fixed address in the 100 block of SW B Ave who had several Benton County warrants.  She was taken to the Benton County Jail.

Theft III, Criminal Trespass I x 2, Discon II and Open Container – Officers contacted a 42 year old male with no fixed address in the 700 block of NW Kings Blvd.  The male was taken into custody, cited and released at the LEC.  

Motor Vehicle Crash – Officers responded to the 1800 block of NW 9th St for a report of a vehicle crash.  A 47 year old male was issued a citation for Fail to Yield While Entering Roadway after colliding with another vehicle while exiting a parking lot.

May 17th

Reckless Driving, Elude – Officers attempted to stop a reported recklessly driven motorcycle in the 100 block of SW Tunison.  A short pursuit ensued but was terminated before getting the suspect stopped.  No plate or suspect ID. 

Violent Conduct - Officers responded to the 1100 block of NW Jackson Ave for an out of control 42 year old female with no fixed address.  The female was cited for violent conduct after she punched a staff member and broke various items.

Assault: At approximately 1518 hours, Officers responded to the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue for a report of 5 to 6 people fighting. When officers arrived they contacted a male juvenile who had been assaulted by several other juveniles. The incident was reportedly over a past incident, and the other involved juveniles fled the scene.

Fraud: At approximately 1545 hours, Officers took a report of a fraud from a business in the 4800 block of SW Research Way. The business called into report that multiple client had fraudulent activity on their online accounts.

Warrant Service: At approximately 1757 hours, Officers contacted a known 55 year old male with no fixed address in the 1500 block of NW 9th Street. A records check of the male showed he had several warrants for his arrest. The male was cited and released on scene for his warrants.

DUII - A 20 year old Corvallis male was cited for DUII and Reckless Driving  after being stopped near SW 53rd St/SW Philomath Blvd.  He consented to a breath test with a BAC of .12. 

Warrant Arrest - A 25 year old Corvallis female was cited on a Philomath Municipal Court warrant after being contacted on a vandalism complaint at her residence in the 3800 block SW Neer Avenue. 

May 16th

Violent Conduct - A 43 year old South Beach male was cited for Violent Conduct and trespassed from a bar/restaurant in the 1800 block NW 9th Street after being involved in a disturbance inside the bar and out in the parking lot. 

Warrant Arrest - A 57 year old Corvallis male was cited on a Linn County Justice Court warrant after being contacted on a car prowling complaint near SW 11th ST/SW Washington Avenue.  The male was actually getting into his own vehicle and was not committed a car prowl as reported. 

Criminal Mischief: Officer responded to a report of a male subject spray painting in the 100 block of SW B street. Officer arrived as the caller was kicking the front door of the criminal mischief suspect’s car. The owner of the car, an 31 year old Alsea resident, declined to pursue criminal charges regarding the damage to his car. He was given a warning in reference to the spray painting. The caller, a 47 year old male with no fixed address, was given a warning regarding the criminal mischief to the other male’s car.

Warrant arrest/False Info/PCS: Officer conducted a welfare check on a 37 year old male (Junction City Resident) in the 1400 block of NW 20th St . The male was described as sleeping in a parked and running car. The male initially lied about his identity to avoid being arrested for a warrant. The male was subsequently issued citations for False Info, PCS Heroin (violation), and a Lane County Felony Warrant for FTC on a Stolen Vehicle charge.

Juvenile Complaint: Officer responded to a report of a juvenile being bitten by another neighborhood juvenile in the 3300 block of NE Oxford Cir. Officer learned 3 juvenile males mutually engaged in a physical fight that they said got out of hand. Due to the totality of the circumstances, there was no enforcement action taken but the Officer contacted the parents for all of the involved juveniles and spoke with them regarding the incident.

UUMV: 22 year old Corvallis resident reported her car was stolen from the alley in the 2600 block of NW Van Buren Ave between 2230 hours on 05/15 and 0900 hours on 05/16. The vehicle is a 2007 Honda Accord with a full tank of gas and a dent above the driver side headlight. The owner reported the keys were not with the car at the time of the theft. 

Warrant Service: Officer responded to the 3400 block of SE 3rd St for a report of a civil dispute. While speaking with the calling party, a 37 year old female resident of Corvallis, the Officer learned the woman had a Linn County Justice Court warrant for her arrest for Contempt of Court. The woman was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Burglary: A Corvallis resident reported his residence in the 300 block of NW 21st St was burglarized over the night. A side door on the residence was left open for a roommate who was returning later in the night. In the morning the residents awoke and found the door slightly ajar. A Patagonia brand jacket, a backpack, and a Microsoft Surface were stolen. There is no suspect information at this time.

May 15th

Restraining Order Violation – Officers responded to the 1500 block of SW 53rd St for a reported violation of a restraining order. Officers learned a 38 y/o male had been in contact with a 29 y/o female in violation of an active restraining order. The male was taken into custody and lodged at the Benton County Jail for violation of the restraining order.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 32 y/o male with no fixed address in the 500 block of SW D Ave. The male had a warrant for Parole Violation issued out of Benton County Parole & Probation. He was taken into custody and lodged at the Benton County Jail.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 50 y/o male with no fixed address in the 100 block of NW Van Buren Ave. The male had four warrants issued out of Benton County Circuit Court, all for Criminally Driving While Suspended. He was cited and released.

Unproved Animal Attack – Officers responded to the 100 block of SW B Ave after receiving a report of a bog biting a person. The investigation revealed a 25 y/o female allowed her dog to roam in a park without a leash. The dog attacked a 25 y/o male and caused minor injury. The dog was impounded and the female was cited for Unprovoked Animal Attack through Corvallis Municipal Court.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 24 y/o female with no fixed address in the 700 block of NW Buchanan Ave. The female had a warrant issued out of Linn County Circuit Court for Failure to Appear on a Possession of Methamphetamine charge. She was cited and released.

Warrant Arrest – Officers responded to the 1100 block of NW 10th St for a report of a female screaming and yelling inside a parked vehicle. Officers contacted a 34 y/o Corvallis resident alone in the vehicle. The female had two warrants, one issued out of Albany Municipal Court for Dangerous Drugs and the second from Philomath Municipal Court for Contempt of Court. She was cited for her warrants and released.

Disturbance – Officers responded to the 900 block of NW Beca Ave for a reported argument. Officers learned a 48 y/o male and a 46 y/o female had been arguing. The female claimed the male shoved her during the argument. Two other people were present during the dispute and everyone involved provided conflicting statements about what occurred. The female was provided information regarding filing for a protection order and placed in touch with CARDV. No arrests were made.

Theft – An officer contacted a 47-year-old male with no fixed address regarding a cold theft of his cell phone, tablet, and wallet from his 5th wheel located in the 2300 block of NW Kings Blvd. The victim could not provide any suspect information.

Theft – A 73-year-old female from Corvallis reported an unknown person stole a “No Trespassing” sign from her driveway in the 300 block of NW 21st St. The victim had video of the incident but it did not show the face of the suspect. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.

Special Response Notice/Loud Noise – An officer responded to the 3000 block of NW Orchard Ave for a report of a loud party. The officer arrived at the location and contacted a 22-year-old male from Corvallis. The resident was issued a citation for Loud Noise and issued a SRN.

Robbery/Theft – A 40-year old male with no fixed address called 911 to report two males came up to him and stole his bank card in the 900 block of NW Circle Blvd. The victim was contacted nearby, was very uncooperative, denied anything occurred, and refused to make a report to police. Officers contacted two other people nearby who knew the victim, but they stated they did not know what happened and denied being involved. The victim was given an officer’s contact information if he decided he wanted to make a report to police.

Assault/Interfering with a Peace Officer – Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of SW Chickadee St for a report of a possible argument. When the first officer arrived, he saw a male punch another male. The officer went to stop the fight and one of the males refused to stop and ran away. The officer went to chase the male but was unable to contact him. Both the suspect and victim left the area and it was not determined why the males were fighting. 

May 14th

Hit and Run – Officers investigated a hit and run that occurred in the 1000 block of NW Kings Blvd. The suspect vehicle rear-ended another vehicle and then drove off after the driver shouted that they did not have insurance. The driver of the victim vehicle took a photo of the suspect’s license plate. The investigation is ongoing.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 28 y/o male with no fixed address in the 400 block of SW Monroe Ave after he was causing a disturbance. The male had two arrest warrant issued out of Benton County Circuit Court for Robbery III and Trespass II. He was cited and released.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 49 y/o male with no fixed address in the 1500 block of NW Monroe Ave for a trespass complaint. The male had a cite and release warrant issued through Benton County Circuit Court for Trespass I and Theft III. He was issued a citation.

Assault – Officers investigated an assault that occurred in the 1300 block of SW Philomath Blvd between a 26 y/o male with no fixed address and a 35 y/o male with no fixed address. The investigation revealed the 35 y/o male threw a rock and struck the 26 y/o male’s dog, so the dog owner punched the 35 y/o male in the face. The 35 y/o male was uncooperative with the investigation and declined to pursue charges for assault. The dog was uninjured and neither male was arrested.

MIP – Alcohol – An officer was on directed patrol in the 100 block of NW 26th St when they contacted four 19 year old males from Corvallis carrying open containers of alcohol. All four males were issued citations for MIP-Alcohol.

Special Response Notice – An officer responded to the 1100 block of NW 23rd St for a report of a loud party. A 23 year old male from Corvallis was contacted, advised of the complaint, and issued a SRN.

Trespass – Officers responded to a business in the 300 block of NW 5th ST for a report of a 45 year old male with no fixed address who went into an employee only area and was refusing to leave. The male was contacted inside the business and refused to leave when officers told him to. The male was taken into custody and later issued a citation.

Criminal Mischief/Harassment/Disorderly Conduct – Officers responded to NW 4th St and NW Jackson Ave for a report of a 37 year old female with no fixed address pounding on the window to a vehicle. Officers arrived on scene and spoke to a 33 year old Corvallis female who advised the suspect ripped off the windshield wiper on her car, threw it at her, and left the area screaming. The suspect was contacted a few blocks away and issued a citation.  

Warrant Arrest – An officer contacted a 50 year old male with no fixed address in the 1500 block of SE Goodnight Ave. The male had multiple warrants for his arrest and was issued citations in lieu of custody. 

May 13th

Theft: At approximately 0923 hours, Officers responded to a business in the 2000 block of NW 9th Street for a welfare check. They contacted a 43 year old male with no fixed address. The male was in possession of stolen merchandise from the store, and he was trespassed from the property.

Burglary: At approximately 0932 hours, Officers responded to a reported burglary in the 3700 block of SW Western Boulevard. The victim reported that someone entered into their apartment in the last several nights and stole a purse. There was no sign of forced entry into the residence, and the victim believed the door was left unlocked.

Trespass: At approximately 1001 hours, Officers responded to a business in the 700 block of NW Kings Boulevard for a report of a trespass. Officers contacted a known 42 year old male with no fixed address on the property. The male stated he knew he was previously trespassed, and he was cited and released.

Public Indecency: At approximately 1026 hours, Officers responded to a report of a male that was masturbating in front of an apartment window. The caller reported this has happened on multiple occasions. Officers attempted to contact someone at the apartment, but received no response.

Theft/Fraud: At approximately 1159 hours, Officers took a report of a fraud in the 1200 block of SW Airport Avenue. The caller reported their brother had his credit card information compromised and over $4,000 in charges had been made. The charges appeared to have been made online.

Criminal Mischief – Officers investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 2500 block of NW Fillmore Ave. The reporting person told officers an unknown person had kicked in the front door of their residence and then left the area. This reportedly occurred several days before police were notified. The suspect did not make entry into the residence and was not identified.

Trespass/Resisting Arrest – Officers responded to the 1800 block of NW 9th St for a reported trespass. Officers learned a 43 y/o male refused to leave a business when told and was bothering customers. When officers attempted to take the male into custody for trespassing, he resisted arrested and was taken to the ground and placed into handcuffs. He was later cited and released for Trespass II, Interfering and Resisting Arrest.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 42 y/o male with no fixed address near the intersection of SW 3rd St and SW Twin Oaks Cir. The male had a cite and release warrant issued out of Benton County Circuit Court for Criminal Mischief II. The male was cited and released.

Menacing/Trespass – Officers responded to the 300 block of NW 2nd St for a reported trespass after an intoxicated male refused to leave a business. Officers contacted the suspect and identified him as 43 y/o male. Officers learned the suspect had confronted the male employee regarding a past disagreement. The suspect was subsequently taken into custody and lodged at the Benton County Jail for Trespass II and Menacing. 

Special Response Notice – An officer responded to a report of a loud party in the 100 block of NW 35th St. A 26 year-old Corvallis male was contacted, advised of the complaint, and agreed to end the party. A SRN was issued for Loud Noise.

Special Response Notice – An officer responded to the 800 block of NW Calliope Dr for a report of a loud party. A 21 year old female from Corvallis was contacted and issued a SRN for Loud Noise and Unlawful Amplified Sound.

Special Response Notice – An officer responded to the 2000 block of NW Taylor Ave for a report of people throwing beer cans into a parking lot at a loud party. A 20 year old male from Corvallis was contacted and issued a SRN for Loud Noise.

May 12th

Theft: At approximately 0902 hours, Officers took a report of a theft in the 1400 block of NW Highland Drive. The victim reported they had a package that was stolen off of the porch the previous night.

Argument: At approximately 1020 hours, Officers responded to the 800 block of SW Grove Street for a reported argument. Officers contacted a 21 and 44 year old male residents of Corvallis. The males were family and were engaged in a verbal only argument, both parties calmed down and there was no evidence of a crime. 

Trespass/Warrant Service: At approximately 1057 hours, Officers responded to a business in the 700 block of NW Kings Boulevard for a report of a trespass. Officers contacted a known 42 year old male with no fixed address in the area, and verified he had already been trespassed from the business. The male also had a warrant for his arrest. The male was cited and released for trespass and the warrant.

Fraud: At approximately 1353 hours, Officers took a report of a fraud in the 400 block of NW 10th Street. The victim called to report they were selling something online, and someone had sent a check for more than the asking price, and now the bank suspected it was fraudulent.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 63 y/o male with no fixed address in the 1300 NW 9th St after he was refusing the leave a business. The responding officer learned the male had four outstanding warrants for his arrest for Aggravated Harassment, Theft II, Theft III X2 and Parole Violation. He was taken into custody and lodged at the Benton County Jail.

Harassment – Officers responded to the 300 block of NW 4th St for a reported disturbance between a male and female. Officers learned a 41 y/o female and a 24 y/o male began arguing over a driving dispute. Neither person new each other. Officers learned the female reached inside the male’s vehicle, slapped him and then grabbed his penis and threatened to pull of the appendage. The female was cited for Harassment and Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle.

Criminal Mischief – Officers responded to the 300 block of NW 4th St for a report of a male throwing cans and yelling at others in the area. Officers located a 38 y/o male nearby and detained him. The investigation revealed the male had spray painted the front of businesses and then threw a paint can through the window. The male was cited for Criminal Mischief I and Littering.

May 11th

Warrant – An officer stopped a vehicle in the 2000 block of SE 3rd St.  The driver, a 40-year-old Corvallis female, was the subject of a Benton County Warrant.  The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody. 

Shoplifting – Officers responded to the 900 block of NW Circle Blvd on report of a male fleeing the property after shoplifting.  Officers located the male nearby and identified him as an 18-year-old Corvallis male.  He was issued a citation for shoplifting.

Warrant Arrests - An Officer contacted two males in the 100 block of SW Jefferson Avenue. The first male, a 64 year old male with no fixed address, was the subject of multiple Benton County Circuit Court warrants. The second male, a 65 year old male with no fixed address, was the subject of a Linn County Justice Court warrant. Both male was issued citations in lieu of custody for their warrants.

DUII - A 22 year old male was taken into custody for DUII after being stopped for a traffic violation near the intersection of NW 9th ST/NW Circle Blvd.  He consented to a breath test with a BAC result of .22%.  He was cited for DUII and Reckless Endangering Another. 

DWS Misdemeanor - A 50 year old Corvallis male was cited for DWS Misdemeanor after being stopped for a traffic violation in the 2200 block NW 9th Street. 

May 10th

Forgery – A person came to the LEC and turned in 15 forged 50 dollar bills they found in the area of NW Kings Blvd and NW Grant Ave.  The bills were poorly forged and were ripped in half.  They were entered into evidence.

Recovered Stolen Trailer- Officer responded to the 2300 block of NW 9th Street for a suspicious vehicle. Officer located a trailer that was reported to Linn County SO on 04/30/2021. The reporting person reported first seeing the trailer in the parking lot on 05/03/2021. The trailer was return to its owner. There was no security cameras in the area and no one was reported to be seen dropping the trailer.

Fail to Register as Sex Offender- Officer responded to the 100 block of NW 5th Street for a male out of compliance with his sex offender registry. Officer contacted a 24 y/o male with a Corvallis address. Male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

DUII/Reckless Driving- An Officer contacted 30 y/o male with a Stayton address in the 2600 block of NW 9th Street for possible intoxicated driver. Male was found to be under the influence and refused field sobriety test. Male was transported to the hospital where a warrant was granted for a blood draw. Male was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- An Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of NW Garfield Avenue for a traffic violation. The officer contacted the driver, a 26 y/o male with a Corvallis address, who was a subject of a Linn County Circuit Court warrant. The officer also searched the vehicle on consent and found controlled substances. Male was issued citations in lieu of custody for the warrant, DWS-Violation, PCS-Meth, and PCS-Heroin.

DUII - An officer located a vehicle driving in the wrong lane on SW Philomath Blvd.  The 21-year-old male driver was arrested for DUII and his BAC was 0.08%  He was issued a citation and released.

DV ASSAULT – Multiple neighbors called in an assault in progress in the 2600 block of NW Coolidge Way.  When officers arrived, both parties were vague in their description of what happened but the male had obvious injuries.  The 22-year-old female Corvallis resident was lodged at the Benton County Jail for DV Assault.

TRESPASS – Staff at a local business on NW 9th St reported a 45-year-old male had been lingering on the property for hours and was now refusing to leave the restroom.  The male, with no fixed address, refused to leave when asked to by officers.  The male was taken into custody and issued a citation for Trespass.

TRESPASS – Staff at a local business downtown reported a 53-year-old female with no fixed address was in the business refusing to leave.  The female was previously trespassed from the business and has been arrested for trespassing there multiple times.  The female was issued a citation for trespass.

May 9th

Trespass – An officer responded to the 400 block of SW 3rd St on report of a male reusing to leave the property.  A 36-year-old male with no fixed address was found at the location.  He was previously issued a trespass notice.  He was issued a citation in lieu of custody and escorted from the property. 

Disorderly Conduct – Officers responded to the 1600 block of NW 9th St on report of a male throwing items at a car.  Officers contacted a 52-year-old male with no fixed address in the area and issued him a citation in lieu of custody. 

DUII/Reckless Driving/Recklessly Endangering Another – Officers responded to the 1300 block of NW 9th St on report of a possibly intoxicated driver attempting to purchase more alcohol.  Officers located the driver, a 41-year-old Corvallis male, and arrested him for DUII.  The male’s blood alcohol content registered .24%.  He was issued citations in lieu of custody.

DWS Misd- An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of NW Circle Blvd. Officer contacted the driver, a 33 y/o male with a Salem address, and learned he was DWS misdemeanor. Male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Attempted Burglary- An officer responded to the 1400 block of NW Monroe Avenue for a report of a cold trespass. An unidentified male was seen on security footage trying to gain entry into the closed business in the early hours of the morning by hitting the glass doors with an object. The male was unable to gain entry and there was no damage to the door. The male left the area and was not located.  

DWS Misd- An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of NW Circle Blvd. Officer contacted the driver, a 37 y/o male with a Corvallis address, and learned he was DWS misdemeanor. Male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 47 y/o male with no fixed address in the 1900 block of NW Buchanan Avenue. He was found to be the subject of an Albany Municipal warrant. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 34 y/o female with a Tangent address in the 100 block of NW Van Buren Avenue. She was found to be the subject of a Brownsville Municipal warrant. The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

DUII Drugs - A 42 year old Corvallis man was arrest for DUII Drugs during a traffic stop that occurred at SW 53rd Street and SW Philomath Blvd. The male did not provide urine and during a search warrant, resisted urine being obtained. He was charged with DUII Drugs and Interfering with a Peace Officer.

AOA Fire - A large fire occurred at the BMX Track, 551 SE Chapman Pl. A Corvallis transient male was heating a tent with an open flame propane heater in his tent amongst other propane tanks. Witnesses reported hearing him attempt to light the heater multiple times over a period of 20 minutes followed by a loud explosion. The tent owner fled the scene and was not located. The Corvallis Fire Department put out the flames however property was burned as well as the surrounding trees/shrubbery. 

May 8th

Trespass- Officers responded to the 400 block of SW Western Blvd for a male on the property, who had previously been trespassed. Officers located the 70 y/o male with no fixed address a couple of blocks away. He was cited and released.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 3600 NW Samaritan Drive for a report of a narcotics offense. Officers contacted a 33 y/o male with a Corvallis address. The male had a Benton County Circuit Court warrant for Delivery of Meth. Male was cited for his warrant along with and additional charge of PCS- Meth (violation).

Warrant Arrest- An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 1800 block of NW Highland Drive. During the traffic stop the officer learned the passenger, a 36 y/o male with a Corvallis address, had a cite and release warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for Contempt of Court. Male was cited and released.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle/ Recovered Stolen Plates- Officers responded to the 1000 block of SW 3rd Street for a suspicious vehicle. Officers located a black Toyota Tacoma underneath the 4th Street bridge that was reported stolen out of Tigard, OR. The vehicle also had plates that were reported stolen out of Corvallis on 05/08/2021 (2021-03297). Vehicle was reported to have been there since 1600 hours on 05/07/2021 but no one was seen around the vehicle. Officers were unable to locate any suspect information at this time.

Warrant Arrest- An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of NW Monroe Avenue. The officer contacted the driver, a 31 y/o male with a Lebanon address, and learned he had an Oregon State Parole Board warrant for Parole Violation. He was arrested and transported to the Linn County Jail where he was lodged on his warrant.

Reckless Driving – An officer was dispatched to the 2400 block of SW Pickford St for a report of a 29 year old Corvallis male who was recklessly driving. The caller reported the suspect was in a Toyota pickup, “doing donuts”, spinning out on the road, and had been driving for a time with his headlights off. The caller provided a license plate and the suspect was contacted at his apartment. The suspect was issued a citation for Reckless Driving.

Disorderly Conduct – Officers were dispatched to a business at the 500 block of NE Circle Blvd for a report of an unknown male who threatened the cashier and asked the cashier if he wanted to fight. Officers searched the area and were unable to locate the suspect.

Trespass – Officers were dispatched to the 3600 block of NW Samaritan Dr for a report of a 36-year-old male with no fixed address at the lobby of the emergency room refusing to leave. The male was previously trespassed from the location and was there when officers arrived. The male was taken into custody and later issued a citation. 

May 7th

UEMV/Theft: At approximately 0738 hours, Officers took a report of a vehicle that was broken into in the 700 block of NW 21st Street. The victim reported someone broken out his passenger side window and stole a backpack containing clothes from the vehicle.

Trespass: At approximately 0746 hours, Officers responded to the 1800 block of NW 27th Street for a trespass. The business called to report a former employee that had been terminated was back on the property and causing a scene. The 30 year old female employee was contacted and issued a trespass notice from the business.

Trespass: At approximately 1010 hours, Officers responded to the 2400 block of SE 3rd Street for a reported trespass. The business reported an older male customer was urinating on the side of the business, and refused to leave when asked. Officers identified the male as a 70 year old male with no fixed address. The male was trespassed from the property.

Disturbance: At approximately 1237 hours, Officers responded to an address in the 3400 block of NE Lancaster Street for a report of a possible domestic. Officers contacted a 26 year old male and a 22 year old female at the residence. Both denied any sort of a physical altercation, and none of the parties were injured. Due to previous calls of the same nature at this location the circumstances were documented.

Warrant Arrest – An officer contacted a 22 y/o male with no fixed address in the 2000 block of NW Janssen St. The male had a two warrants issued out of Linn County Circuit Court for Unlawful Use of a Vehicle and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Criminally Driving while Suspended. He was cited and released.

Burglary - Officers investigated a residential burglary in the 3300 block of SW Cascades Ave. An unknown suspect entered an unlocked garage and stole a bicycle during the night. There is no suspect information.

Elude – An officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of NW Harrison Blvd and NW 9th St after recognizing the driver and having previous knowledge he was criminally suspended. The driver intentionally eluded the officer for one block before parking his vehicle and attempting to run inside a residence. The driver was taken into custody without incident and identified as a 26 y/o Corvallis resident. Officers located methamphetamine in the suspect’s possession. He was subsequently charged with Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police, Reckless Driving, Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.

Trespass – An officer responded to the 1300 block of NW 9th St for a report of a 36-year-old male, with no fixed address, who was previously trespassed from a business. The suspect left the business and then was blocking traffic on NW 9th St. An officer contacted the suspect and issued him a citation for Disorderly Conduct II and Trespass II.

Special Response Notice – An officer responded to the 800 block of NW 29th St for a report of a loud party. A 21-year-old female from Corvallis was contacted at the residence. The officer witnessed sound violations and a SRN was issued.

Special Response Notice – Officers responded to the 900 block of SW E Ave for a report of a loud party. Officers contacted several people who proceeded to go inside the residence and were not initially cooperative. A 19-year-old male willingly came out of the residence and agreed to shut the party down and sent everyone home. The male was issued a SRN.

Special Response Notice – An officer responded to the 2000 block of NW Van Buren Ave for a report of a loud party. A 22-year-old male from Corvallis was contacted at the residence. The officer witnessed sound violations and a SRN was issued.

Trespass – Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of NW 2nd St for a report of a 37-year-old male and 28-year-old female from out of town causing loud noise and refusing to leave the hotel room. The suspects were both contacted and issued trespass notices and left the hotel. 

May 6th

Theft: At approximately 0822 hours, Officers responded to a theft in the 1000 block of NW 34th Street. The victim reported their catalytic converter was stolen off of their vehicle sometime during the night. The damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,400 to replace.

Warrant Service: At approximately 0846 hours, Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the area of 4th and Philomath Boulevard. The operator was identified as a 26 year old female resident of Corvallis, and she was found to have an active warrant for FTA on DUII. The female was cited and released on her warrant, and released on scene.

Criminal Mischief: At approximately 1129 hours, Officers responded to the 200 block of NW 3rd Street for a report of damage to property at a business. The business reported a vehicle pulled the end of one of the gas pumps off, and then the operator refused to stay on scene and exchange information and left the scene.

Theft: At approximately 1206 hours, Officers took a report of a theft from an enclosed trailer in the 400 block of NE Circle Boulevard. The victim reported that numerous construction tools were stolen from the trailer, with a total value of $5,000.

Trespass – Officers responded to the 400 block of SW Monroe Ave for a reported trespass after a 53 y/o female with no fixed address returned after being formally trespassed. The suspect was cited and released.

DWS Misdemeanor – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 3000 block of SE 3rd St. The driver was identified as a 30 y/o male Corvallis resident. He was cited for criminally driving while suspended and released.

Graffiti – Officers responded to the 1500 block of SW 53rd St for a report of a male applying graffiti to a light pole. Responding officers subsequently located and stopped the suspect after he was attempting to leave the area in his vehicle. The suspect was identified as a 38 y/o male with no fixed address. He was issued a citation through Corvallis Municipal Code for Damaging Property.

DUII Alcohol – Officers responded to the 900 block of NW Conifer Blvd for a hit and run crash after a vehicle drove off the roadway and hit multiple street sings, a fence and landscaping bushes. The vehicle then left the area without stopping. The suspect vehicle was located a short distance away and it was apparent the driver was attempting to avoid detection. The male driver was identified as a 29 y/o Corvallis resident. He was taken into custody for DUII and provided a breath sample of 0.14. He was cited for DUII, Reckless Driving and Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver.

Trespass – An officer responded to the 700 block of NW Kings Blvd or a report of a 36 year old male with no fixed address at a business in which he as previously trespassed from. The officer contacted the suspect nearby and issued him a citation for trespassing.

Disorderly Conduct – Officers responded to the 1400 block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of a 23 year old male and 36 year old male with no fixed address arguing on the sidewalk. Both males were yelling at each other, raising their arms, and a witness believed they were going to fight. The suspects were contacted and it was determined they both were instigating and they both received citations for Disorderly Conduct.

Trespass/Theft II – An officer responded to the 500 block of NW 21st St for a report of a neighborhood cat being caught in a trap in a person’s backyard. The cat owner contacted the resident and retrieved their cat who was unharmed. An unknown person in the neighborhood was upset and went into the person’s backyard without permission and stole the trap. The identity of the suspect is unknown.

May 5th

Recklessly Endangering Another – Officers contacted a 55-year-old Corvallis male in the 100 block of SE Fischer Ln.  The male drove his car on a bike path and nearly struck a female.  The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody and his car was towed, as he was not a valid driver.

Stolen Vehicle – An officer responded to the 2100 block of NW Fillmore Ave on report of a stolen car.  The caller reported their 1995 Acura Integra was stolen overnight.  It was described as being silver sedan with a red hood.  The car is still outstanding.

Warrant – Officers attempted to contact a male in the area of SE Vica Way and SE Bethel St.  The male refused to stop for officers and fled on a bike.  He was later located and determined to be a 39-year-old male with no fixed address.  He was also the subject of a Benton County warrant.  He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant – Officers contacted a 44-year-old female with no fixed address in the 1300 block of SW Philomath Blvd.  She was found to be the subject of a Benton County warrant.  The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody..

Driving While Suspended – An officer stopped a vehicle in the 300 block of SW Adams Ave for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as a 50 y/o male with no fixed address with a criminally suspended license. He was issued a citation for DWS Misdemeanor and released.

DUII Alcohol – Officers responded to the 1600 block of NW Arthur Cir for a report of a female passed out inside of a parked vehicle. Officers determined the female was impaired by alcohol. She was subsequently arrested for DUII and transported to the hospital by ambulance. The investigating officer completed a telephonic search warrant for a blood draw, which was granted by a Benton County Circuit Court Judge. The female’s BAC is unknown until subsequent testing of the blood is available.
